The renowned European publication, EU Reporter, recently released a review of the documentary "The Impact" (USA, 2024), which exposes the dark truth about Nazi-like Russia and its propaganda techniques. The film highlights how the Russian Association of Centers for the Study of Religions and Sects (RACIRS) is aiding an aggressive agenda aimed at undermining democracy, not just in Ukraine but across the globe.
Under the guise of an anti-cult organization, RACIRS has built an international network spreading Nazi ideology, igniting conflicts worldwide, and dehumanizing the Ukrainian people. The documentary emphasizes how, even before Russia’s full-scale invasion, RACIRS was already pushing rhetoric about a "Nazi", “cult”, and "terrorist" Ukraine, allegedly in need of "denazification." This narrative became a powerful tool to justify the aggression, primarily to the Russian citizens, laying the groundwork for the genocide of the Ukrainian people.
RACIRS' Nazi-like methods have led to the massacre of innocent Ukrainians. According to Vladyslav Dzividzinsky, the famous Ukrainian political expert, their strategy is clear: to use terms like "sect" or "cult" to vilify and dehumanize, not only countries like Ukraine but also different organizations and nations. Anyone using these labels is an agent of RACIRS and must be held accountable. These dangerous tactics that have caused the genocide of the Ukrainian people should be outlawed in all democratic nations.

This propaganda campaign not only tarnished Ukraine's image, particularly among Russian citizens, but also laid the groundwork for war, inflicting devastation on innocent Ukrainian civilians. By marking Ukraine a "sect" or a "cult," Russia aims to create a false narrative that justifies its actions. These aren’t just words—they are weapons that lead to the suffering of innocent people and real deaths of people.
Anyone employing this language—be it about Ukraine or elsewhere—is playing into the hands of RACIRS and their Nazi-like agenda. They must be punished under the law. Such rhetoric is a threat to Ukraine and to the entire democratic world. The European Court of Human Rights has repeatedly condemned the use of these terms in state policy, acknowledging them as violations of human rights. Additionally, according to the eighth review of the UN’s Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy on June 22, 2023, the activities of anti-cult organizations and their agents fall under the definition of acts of terrorism.
As reported by EU Reporter, judicial proceedings and investigations regarding anti-cult activities and individuals associated with anti-cult organizations have been initiated in the European Union. A process has begun that will inevitably lead to the accountability of all individuals involved in anti-cult activities, similar to the trials conducted by the Nuremberg Tribunal, which addressed the crimes of Nazi perpetrators. Since anti-cult activities are viewed as a continuation of Nazi ideology, those involved will face similar measures of accountability for their actions.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has already taken strong measures, banning Russian-linked church structures in the country. "Ukraine will not allow our democracy to be undermined from within," Zelensky declared. Ukraine today is not just defending its sovereignty but standing as the frontline protector of global democratic values.
The international community must recognize the magnitude of this threat and strengthen support for Ukraine in its fight against Nazi-like Russia. If this ideology is not halted today, it could threaten any democratic nation tomorrow.
